Best Time Of The Year

Snow is falling,
Covering the world with it like salt falling from a saltshaker,
The air is as cold as an ice cube,
The days are shorter,
Shorter than a midget,
Houses on every block,
Are lit as bright as the sun with multiple-colored lights,
Children walk down the street,
Singing of that jolly old fellow in the red suit that drops off toys,
For the good little boys and girls,
Bringing joy to the world,
Celebrating the birth of baby Jesus Christ,
Before He died on the cross for all of us,
Cleansing us in His blood,
Forgiving us for all our sins,
And giving us everlasting life,
A time to spend with friends and family galore,
Thanking God for the blessings of another year,
And for just being alive today,
It’s the best time of the year,
Reflecting back on all that has happened this year,
That is quickly passing,
Remembering all of the wonderful times that we enjoyed,
The times that we want to lock away in our hearts,
Keeping it there for the rest of our lives,
Christmas time!
