I'M BACK! :)

I’m back,
In this brand new year,
I made it through,
Now ready to start anew,
Ready to do it all over again,
But differently,
Don’t want to make the same mistakes,
Don’t want to fall for the same ol’ tricks
Or go through the hard and tough times again,
I’m back again,
The Mad Writer, baby!
I’ve come back harder,
Harder than before,
Back stronger,
Constructing brand new words to make sentences,
Into paragraphs,
Into more pieces of gold, silver, and platinum,
With my wooden wand of lead,
And my silver sword of ink,
Blowing you away,
And knocking the socks and shoes off your feet,
With my magnificent words,
I’m back,
With my heart still for Jesus Christ,
Praying to Him,
And to the Father, God,
Helping me to walk with Them,
And learning more of the word that I read at the church on Sundays,
And then stare Satan in the eyes,
Tell him he’s a dirty liar,
That I won’t let him get the best of me,
Through lust or temptation,
I’m back,
In my life again,
With my family and friends,
Sticking right beside me like honey to a biscuit,
Like syrup to pancakes,
Behind me 100%,
Knowing that my biggest critic lurks in the shadows,
Ready to attack,
But not letting em’ kill the Mad Writer in cold blood,
With the ice-cold stares,
Keep climbing,
Not falling,
It’s the Mad Writer, baby!
I’m back and I’m here to stay!
